Live At The Woodchopper’s Ball
Spoonshine’s second album, is all live, taken from a wonderful night of music, dancing, and community on Guemes Island, at their annual Woodchopper’s Ball.

This concert motivated the community to restructure the dance floor in the hall for fear of it collapsing at another Spoonshine show! Guemes Island continues to feel like Spoonshine’s spiritual home base, even though none of the members live there. This was a great night to capture on CD. We just had this reprinted, thanks so much for helping us sell 1000 of these.

Dance All Night
The first studio album from Spoonshine, Dance All Night, is mostly originals with several traditional folk tunes, and a cover of Danny O’Keefe’s “Drive on Driver”.
The first nine songs were recorded almost entirely live, while the last song was an experimentation of studio overdubbing and loops. This captures the energy of a band excited about there new sound and looking forward to the future of playing with each other. This is also on it’s second pressing, thanks for all the support everybody!

Homestyle
Homestyle is a duo project with
Jacob Navarro on guitar, mandolin
and vocals, and Bill Cook on guitar,
bass, and vocals. It is mellow, down
home, with an emphasis on vocal
harmonies, and heart felt instrumentals.
It was recorded almost entirely live in
Jake’s living room.

Check it out, a new video I found out there in cyberspace from Folklife Festival 2007, with Bruce Harvey sitting in on mandolin.
Here are a couple videos of us by Jack Olmstead. One even features the legendary Artis the Spoonman sitting in with us at Folklife Festival.
Leanbackvids.com, made a video about Folklife, and used our song same old road as the soundtrack. Their video was linked to in an article by Wired.
